about me

I always aim to bring form and function together with well-crafted, purpose-built designs for print and web.

After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL), I began my career in publishing and layout, learned about print processes and data-segmentation while helping to expand a marketing startup, and now work as the UX Director for a small but intrepid design studio in the heart of Washington, DC (openbox9).

I’ve spent much of my life overseas, and these experiences have given me a love of travel, a broad worldview, and a curiosity for new things. Outside of work, I enjoy sports and music, bike rides and good conversations, and being Dad to a spunky three-year old.
