Logo Design and Branding
Every few years, the Anglican Church in North America gathers together leaders from around the world for a global conference. For this year’s event, the ACNA were looking for a comprehensive branding system for the conference – logo, icons, website, and print materials – that would enable a cohesive user experience.
The goal of the logo process was to create a mark for the event that was unique and engaging, stayed away from clichés, and effectively communicated the heart of the conference—a unified global partnership of the Anglican church with a shared mission.
Complementing the logo, several core icons illustrated the three main focuses of the conference. Colors, typefaces, and other stylistic elements filled in the Assembly brand. Completing the print branding were a number of physical materials to be used during the conference – signage, one-pagers, badges, and t-shirts.
After establishing the logo and brand for the 2017 Assembly, I went on to create a website.
